Senior CSA Engineer – UK, London – Permanent Contract
This is your opportunity to work for a global data centre company that partners with the world’s largest technology firms to provide robust and sustainable operating infrastructure.
With significant investments secured, this data centre group is entering their next phase of growth and are looking to bring on board a Senior CSA Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Lead concept and detailed CSA design (site prep, foundations, building structures, finishes)
- Oversee all CSA permitting processes, collaborating with local authorities and regulatory bodies
- Manage technical reviews and documentation for permitting compliance
- Optimise designs for constructability, sustainability, and structural resilience
- Support project lifecycle phases from feasibility through commissioning
- Partner with architects, engineers, and tenant teams for design integration
- Incorporate green building practices and advanced construction methods
- Provide oversight on vendor selection, tender reviews, and contractor performance
- Travel across Europe for site visits and stakeholder meetings
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in civil, structural, and architectural systems for mission-critical or large-scale industrial projects
- Proven experience managing CSA permitting, including regulatory engagement and submissions
- Familiarity with European building codes, fire safety, and environmental standards
- Proficiency with CSA engineering tools (AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, BIM platforms)
- Deep technical knowledge of steel and concrete structures, waterproofing, façade systems, geotechnical analysis, etc.
- Solid project management skills to handle multiple projects and stakeholder interfaces
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Requires extensive experience in CSA engineering, with developer-led hyperscale project background preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related
- Fluency in English (additional European languages a plus)
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
