Our client is currently seeking the skills of a C&Q Engineer to join their team. Our client develops and delivers life changing medicines to millions of people globally and as part of their growth. With their Drug Substance (DS) manufacturing network growing rapidly, they are committed to growing their portfolio of commercial biologics products supplied worldwide – and this is your opportunity to be involved!

What you’ll do:

  • Support C&Q Strategy, Planning & Coordination – Contribute technical input to commissioning strategy, attend key construction and project meetings, and execute tasks aligned to the project schedule, escalating risks where necessary.
  • Oversee Installation Quality & System Handover – Perform on-site inspections, manage snagging through to closure, review handover documentation, and support mechanical completion acceptance for facility, HVAC, and utilities systems.
  • Lead FAT/SAT & Commissioning Activities – Plan, review, and witness FAT/SAT activities, support commissioning execution, and provide technical input for issue resolution during installation and testing.
  • Deliver Compliance Documentation & Verification – Produce method statements, risk assessments, and C&Q deliverables (DQ, IV/OV protocols, reports) in line with ALCOA and regulatory requirements.

What you’ll need:

  • Mechanically biased engineer with strong hands-on experience.
  • Extensive expertise in HVAC, facilities, and utility systems start-up and commissioning within regulated (GMP) environments.
  • Working knowledge of ALCOA principles applied to documentation preparation and execution.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet dynamic project schedules and delivery requirements.
