Our client is currently seeking the skills of a C&Q Engineer to join their team. Our client develops and delivers life-changing medicines to millions of people globally and as part of their growth. With their Drug Substance (DS) manufacturing network growing rapidly, they are committed to growing their portfolio of commercial biologics products supplied worldwide – and this is your opportunity to be involved!
What you’ll do:
- Support C&Q Strategy, Planning & Coordination: Provide technical input to commissioning strategy, participate in construction/commissionability reviews and meetings, track progress against schedule, and escalate.
- Manage FAT/SAT & Commissioning Activities: Support planning and review of FAT/SAT, execute/witness FATs and commissioning/SAT activities, and provide technical troubleshooting during testing phases.
- Ensure Installation Quality & System Handover: Conduct on-site inspections, manage snagging to closure, review supplier handover/RTM documentation, and support acceptance of installation completion for commissioning start-up.
- Deliver Validation & Compliance Documentation: Perform Design Qualification, develop and execute IV/OV protocols in line with ALCOA, and produce method statements, risk assessments, and stage-wise C&Q reports.
What you’ll need:
- Strong understanding of the full C&Q lifecycle, including URS, DQ, IV, OV, and PQ stages.
- Extensive experience in Commissioning & Qualification within the pharmaceutical / GMP-regulated environment.
- Working knowledge of ALCOA principles, ensuring compliant documentation preparation and execution.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to meet evolving project schedules and delivery demands.
