Overview: Reliability Engineer (Electrical) - Cardiff - 12 Month Contract. Join a rapidly expanding global data centre operator. Responsibilities:

  • Support the transition of electrical systems from commissioning into stable operations.
  • Validate MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, and protection schemes for reliability.
  • Develop and improve electrical maintenance strategies to minimise downtime.
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support during planned works and incidents.
  • Analyse asset performance, failures, and maintenance data to drive improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.
  • Background in data centres, critical facilities, or high-availability electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of MV/LV power, UPS, generators, and protection coordination.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and support multiple sites across EMEA.
