This position suits a talented Windows Engineer with an appetite to fidn the best way to solve a problem and a strong level of Powershell programming and automation focus.
As an Engineer you will focus on platform engineering designs, maintaining the firm’s operating systems, authentication systems, databases, virtualization infrastructure, core network services, and messaging as well as endpoints on Windows and Linux in both our internal- and external-facing environments.
You will will be tasked with the design, implementation, and integration of infrastructure systems, on Windows-based systems The ideal Windows Engineer will have: A STEM degree Significant Windows systems automation experience is required.
Powershell (ideally some c# exposure)An in-depth understanding of the Windows platform and related technologies (e. g., Active Directory and Failover Clustering) is required, as are excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with a variety of tracing tools.
Experience with common Windows Server applications and management tools (e. g., Exchange, SQL, SCCM, Hyper-V, and ADFS, etc.) is also preferred.
A working knowledge of network protocols, Linux, and information security concepts is Experience integrating systems across on-premises and cloud-based environments Experience working with containers on Windows and Linux is preferred.
