Quant Capital has a fantastic opportunity for an AWS Windows Specialist to join a leading cloud and managed services provider at their offices in London.
You will be joining a team of engineers both Windows and Linux engineers, so having some experience with Linux systems would be beneficial. This is a perfect opportunity to prove your skills and to grow with this market-leading rapidly expanding company.
My client is looking for an experienced AWS Windows Specialist to join and possibly lead a team of talented and driven people focusing on keeping my clients' applications working smoothly and without fault 24/7. You will be given the task to scale up and improve my clients' cloud services as well as providing 4th line support for customers.
You will be responsible for the installation and configuration of Windows solutions on an AWS cloud. You will be customising and developing clients' Windows systems as well as managing and automating with various tools such as Powershell and Puppet.
As an AWS Windows Specialist you will need the following:
- Good commercial experience with Windows server
- Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Puppet
- Working knowledge of AWS services and solutions such as EC2
- Experience with Powershell very desirable
- Experience with Provisioning and Monitoring tools
- Networking (TCP/IP)
- Degree, preferable in a quantitative subject
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Managerial skills a plus
