Global Quantitative Trading Firm in London is hiring for an Operations Analyst. This is a high-exposure role within a small, technically capable operations group supporting a multi-asset, multi-venue trading environment.
Role Overview
Primary responsibilities will include reconciliation, profit-and-loss calculation and analysis, which require communication with both front office traders and back-office colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Ops processes
- Daily P&L calculation and substantiation
- Aggregating and reporting P&L
- Third-party trade capture, inventory management, and P&L reporting
- Build a strong understanding of traders’ individual risk management tools and support of traders’ needs
What You’ll Need
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in middle or back office in a trading firm, ideally buy side
- Derivative valuations
- The ability to navigate and analyze P&L across various asset types
- Ability to work with databases, and utilize data from APIs preferred
- Strong MS Excel skills, including VBA experience
- Python coding
