This role will be working with a large distributed system (Built in Java) automating a large volume of realtime data into a portfolio management system.
I am looking for a proficient developer with good data knowledge and an understanding of latency.I am looking for an engineer with strong core Java knowledge who is happy to learn risk.
You should be happy to expand a data platform from scratch with some serious help on the financial side.The Java Engineer Must have:2:1 Computer Science degree from a Red Brick UK or EU University10+ years plus commercial development experienceStrong and demonstrable low-level Java experienceSocketsByteBuffersStrong Database skillsMessagingCode generationCurrently using Java 8 +An Understanding of computing fundamentals, object orientated programming, threading, concurrency and distributed systemsThe environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions.
