The firm is known globally for its attitudes and rigour more importantly, you will be surrounded by smart people deeply interested in teaching what they know, and in learning from you.I am looking for Onboarding and Trade Support Engineer who has up to 5 years’ experience in a commercial environment whether it be a bank, software house or trading firm.As an Automation Engineer you will:50:50 rotation between trade support and project workProject work includes onboarding new brokers and new markets as well as improving trading infrastructure.Monitor trading systems and making sure the platform is running smoothlyWorking with the trading desk and other tech teams to react quickly to issues that arise during the trading day.You MUST have:Good educationStrong Linux/Unix experience.3+ years’ experience supporting trading applications and or onboarding experience.Good troubleshooting and debugging skillsScripting in Python, Ruby or another languageThis role suits an energetic and ambitious candidate who likes to take ownership of a role, this is not like a role in the banking sector.
You must be hands on and have excellent experience of working in a demanding, jack of all trades type environment.
