Our client is a well-known leading provider of integrated risk, analytics and trading solutions for the global financial markets.
Their clients include some of the largest global financial institutions and banks, leading hedge funds, pension funds, insurers, brokers, clearing members and corporates.
I am looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our a fast-paced team of skilled technology professionals focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
You will be responsible for delivering scalable and secure technology solutions both on premise and within Microsoft Azure.
Day to day the Systems Administrator will
- Design, implement, and support technology solutions
- Identify opportunities to build self-service capabilities and automate deployments.
- Ensure availability through monitoring, log collection, and analysis.
- Collaborate with development and professional services teams to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Sys Admins must have
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure & Microsoft 365
- Windows Server, Windows 10, Red Hat/Cent OS or similar
- Active Directory and Group Policy
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Powershell – and an interest in learning.
- Basic experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Dev Ops a plus
- Experience with Routers, Firewalls, Switches, Wi Fi a plus (Cisco / Fortinet)
- Ideally some basic networking experience My client is based in Central London Flex home working
