Senior Trade Operations Rates150,000 + Fund Level Bonus Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Trade Operations Analyst to join our high profile client.
Our client is a well known global Hedge Fund.
They value technology especially the opensource variety as well as scalability and robust performance (much like their track record).
They trade Equities, Swaps, Futures, Options and ETFs products.
This specific role requires strong Macro experience, with extensive knowledge on trade capture, pricing and life cycle events (including middleware platform processing) across Rates, FX and Credit OTC and Listed derivatives.
Working in an Operations team supporting trading activities across a diverse product range, the role is a mixture of regular tasks, exception management and project work.
The focus of the team is on ensuring the complete, accurate and timely capture of trades and lifecycle events both internally and externally.
You will work closely with the trading desks and our tech team and help automate our post-trade processes with a strong focus on driving operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring electronic trade flows
- Ensuring accurate trade capture of voice executed transactions
- Validating 100% trade capture at end of day
- Compliance with regulations and internal policies with respect to trade execution and cap-ture
- Publishing P&L and working with PMs to resolve queries• Corporate event and credit event processing
- Compression and novation processing
- Monitoring of middleware affirmation statuses and exception resolution• New business initiatives: Including set up of new traders and products
- Process Improvements including technology enhancements
- Completing control event reviews and implementation of risk mitigation improvements• Monitor clients’ tickets for timely response and actioning within agreed service level tim-ings
- Liaising with the sell-side to close out exceptions Trade Operations Leads MUST have:
- Minimum of 6 years’ of operations experience from the buy-side
- Advanced excel and basic knowledge of SQL or other programming languages.
- Advanced knowledge of Rates, FX and Credit trade types and structures
- Understanding of Commodities and Equities
- Advanced knowledge of OTC derivative workflows
- Advanced knowledge of Listed derivative workflows
- Understanding of FCMs and account structures
- Advanced knowledge of security (fixed income and equity) processing
- Comprehensive knowledge on industry middleware: Markit Trade Manager ICELink Omgeo CTM OSTTRA (FX, CFD and Listed derivatives) Tri Resolve Murex The environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions.
