Quant Researcher Latency Driven Trading Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Quant Strategist / Researcherto join our high profile client.
Our client is a well known global Prop Trading firm.
They like technology especially the opensource variety as well as scalability and robust performance (much like their track record).
They currently run around 1 billion in liquid capital.
They are latency driven, cover almost all asset classes and are rumoured to be the fastest in the market. (Not that they would tell you)This is an environment of google or a startup where tech is number 1 (26million budget last year…).
The firm is known globally for its attitudes and rigour more importantly, you will be surrounded by smart people deeply interested in teaching what they know, and in learning from you.
I am looking for a mathematician who has exposure to the HFT or Prop space as well as and understanding in Black box technology and research.
On a day to day basis you will hack, join, evangelise and generally create interesting platforms and routes to market.
You should be able to code but also rack a server and potentially play around all through the application layer.
We would expect to see profiles with: Experience in a prop fund or bank Understanding and experience of anything sub 1 second.
A bright mind Python C++ or Opensource Ph D in comp sci or stats Ideally some experience of trading risk You will probably know you are right for this job if you aren’t sure it’s probably not for you.
An appetite for delivering solutions to complex problem You must be hands on and have excellent experience of working in a demanding or jack of all trades environment.
You will also be a Mathematician interested in finance and motivated by technology.
In return you will be rewarded seriously financially we have no limit on basic salary and potential pnl share options.
The environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions.
