UI Developer Contract Outside IR35 650 PD Hybrid Working Monthly Quant Capital is urgently looking for a UI Developer to join a pioneering tech start-up.

Our client is an innovative company with a pioneering new concept for the financial markets with their big data technology platform.

They have assembled a top team from across the financial markets and are looking to expand to meet high demand from clients.

They are rolling out a disruptive big data service for the financial markets, building a global financial network through which investors can analyse and collaborate on investments.

The network provides a solution to transparency and accountability in investments and is revolutionising investment management.

The role: I am hiring to grow the UI team to develop new features for our exciting frontend product built in React, as well as maintaining existing features and occasionally porting features from a legacy Angular codebase.

Additionally you will be responsible for the Graph QL API built in node. js and Apollo to interact with a microservice backend layer.

The team’s mandate is to create an entirely new user experience and engineer the UI with the best and latest technologies.

You will have exposure to cutting edge frontend technology and will be joining a small team with influence over the end product and technical decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include: Working with the product team to prototype and deliver features for the UICollaborating with server side developers to add new features Ensuring the visual consistency of the UIThe environment will be agile, fast paced and test driven.

You will be encouraged to evangelise and prototype new technologies and approaches to help shape the evolving architecture.

Have: Deep knowledge of Java Script or Type Script, HTML and CSSExperience of backend systems such as node. js, Graph QL and RESTUse of modern Java Script frameworks such as React, Redux, Styled Components, Apollo Graph QLUX and visual design skills are a plus The development stack includes: Type Script, React, Redux, Styled Components, Apollo Graph QL, Webpack, Jest, Cypress and Prettier.

Familiarity with these technologies is a plus.
