Overview
In this role you support trading applications for a London-based hedge fund/fintech vendor environment, working directly with traders and engineers. You will triage issues, manage tickets, and ensure smooth trading workflows within a lean, high‑standard team. You’ll gain exposure to Bloomberg data flows, market infrastructure, and electronic trading systems, contributing to a greenfield trading and settlement platform. This is a hands-on, impact‑driven opportunity with clear visibility from day one.

Responsibilities
- Provide application and desk support for trading systems and tickets
- Collaborate with traders and engineers to troubleshoot issues affecting execution
- Monitor and maintain trading workflows and infrastructure to minimize downtime
- Assist with integration and rollout of a greenfield platform
- Liaise with market data and trading infrastructure teams to ensure data integrity
Key requirements
- Trading technology experience
- 2+ years’ experience in financial services, ideally hedge fund or fintech vendor
- Ideally experience in equities
- Understanding of a trading desk; knowledge of options is a plus
- Experience with Bloomberg and Excel
- Bachelor or equivalent from a major university (2:1)
