Our client is a $5 billion strong systematic quant commodity trading fund with excellent recent performance.
The fund is completely quant based so if development and the latest tech and making very serious bonuses are of interest this is the right client.
The environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring the live trading dashboard and alerting senior staff to any errors or other issues.
- Running daily order generation procedures in parallel trading environments.
- Liaison both internally (IT, software development and operations) and externally (brokers, fund administrators) to assist in maintaining trading operations.
- Ad hoc project assignments.
- Initiating algorithms to execute the signals provided by the trading system Trade Assistants MUST have:
- An MSc/BSc in computing or mathematics
- Excellent IT skills including MS Excel.
- Experience in trading or financial markets
- Good basic financial products knowledge, Hull.
This role is for candidates who have a deep understanding of code not just the ability to read the language, expectations are high so if you are not a serious developer, don’t waste your time.
