Trading Application Support – Equity Vol110k Plus 20KQuant Capital is urgently looking for a Trading Application Support Engineer to join our high profile client in their London Office.

Our client is one of the largest Quant Investment managers globally, with around 20 billion under management.

They are mainly quant based but have High frequency and systematic exposure.

The role sits with the trading team on the bleeding edge of technology as well as execution.

This is an environment of science and intellectuals.

The firm is known globally for its attitudes and rigour more importantly, you will be surrounded by smart people deeply interested in teaching what they know, and in learning from you.

This role is a cross asset trade app support role with a slight focus on Equity Volatility trading.

The day operates 7.30AM to 5.00PM.

You will sit in a team of 6.

This role focuses more on trading than technology but we are looking for people from either side.

Responsibilities: Support technology and applications including Market data Trade Support via platforms Respond to calls and manage issues until resolution even if escalated to another team Write technical documentation / testing / knowledge base to be able document problems and resolutions Contribute ideas to improve current technology, future deployments and decisions Identify and help to automate process within Infrastructure and Trading Trading Application Support

Have: Experience of Equities Front Office Application Support Multiple Trade Platform Knowledge Experience within the last year at a bank, broker or Buy Side Institution Computer Science or STEM degree.

Experience in trade floor support of trading applications Must be familiar with PC hardware software troubleshooting and deployment practices for desktops Able to effectively provide support to remote locations Comprehensive knowledge of Windows Webex Zoom & Skype for Business support including Video calls, screen sharing Experience working with 3rd Party Vendors Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as strong customer service experience thoroughness and strong ownership of work You will be joining a progressive and exciting company committed to excellence.
