Quant Capital is urgently looking for an Algo Trader to join our high profile client's team. Our client is a well-known global Prop Trading firm that values technology, especially the open-source variety, as well as scalability and robust performance. The firm offers a market-leading bonus as well as transparent costs. This is a paid permanent role with an established team.
You will be responsible for the research and implementation of fully automated crypto trading strategies using data-driven methods. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing Relative Value trading strategy
- Quantitative trading
- Responsible for performance and risk metrics of strategy
- Continuous production and backtest reconciliation and optimisation
- Scaling up to maximise PnL whilst staying within agreed risk tolerances
- Implementation of initial strategy and confirmation of opportunity via back test
Requirements:
- Experience in a Fund or Prop Shop in a successful trading team
- 3 years of Automated / Algo / Quant Trading
- Relative Value Modelling and Trading
- Programming – Python or Rust or C++
- Academic background to match
