Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Data Ops Analyst to join our high profile client. Our client is one of the largest Quant Investment managers globally, with around 20 billion under management. They are mainly quant based but have High frequency and systematic exposure. The role sits with the middle office team. This is an environment of science and intellectuals. The firm is known globally for its attitudes and rigour; more importantly, you will be surrounded by smart people deeply interested in teaching what they know, and in learning from you. The firm has a reputation for bright minds and interesting ideas for Alpha generation. Technology plays a serious part in their business in an operation that runs 24/7 globally. You will play a serious part in making the London office more efficient in its execution.
The team designs, develops, and maintains infrastructure that provides data transformation and ingestion services. They work with multiple home grown and third-party systems to provide data needed by the firm's key decision makers. You will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and support of production financial data systems.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely completion of data processing pipelines and troubleshooting of the underlying databases, processes, and services.
- Provide operational and process improvements driven from a pragmatic combination of experience and optimal practices.
- Provide technical support and configuration services for our global ERP system.
- Work with system developers and engineers to ensure the development pipeline follows established business processes.
- Monitor support channels and respond to user issues.
Data Ops Engineers will have:
- At least 2 years' professional experience in financial Data SQL ETL concepts ERP Systems Python or Powershell.
- STEM or accounting degree.
- Ideally some understanding of financial accounting.
