SQL Database Developer55,000 + benefits London / Watford Quant Capital is urgently looking for a SQL Database Developer to join our high profile client.

Our client provides global technology services to the financial services industry specifically providing innovation, competitiveness and responsive IT that truly enables financial services.

Their clients are the major investment banks and Asset Managers.

My client is urgently looking for a SQL Database Developer to join their City of London offices, as a SQL DBA you will report to the Head of Data.

In this role you will have a number of responsibilities, from writing SQL queries to performance tuning.

You will be involved in restructuring and improving the efficiency the database and applying security measures throughout the process.

As a SQL Database Developer you must have: Microsoft SQL Server 2012 experience if not then 2008SSRS, SSISExperience Database tuning, administration, management and security Strong understanding of relational databases.

Experience with client-server computing Experience of data processing techniques Experience working in a team environment Good documentation skills Additional skills (desirable, but not essential): Basic programming skills in OO languages such as Java (version 7)This role suits a mid-level SQL Database Developer who is looking for that next step in their career into the financial space; you will have the chance to work on exciting projects and will gain experience with new technologies.
