Our client, a leading quantitative trading firm, manages high-performance, multi-vendor network infrastructure across multiple systems, supporting diverse traffic from trading to connectivity.
In this role, youβll work within a high-caliber team to ensure the seamless functioning of an advanced network infrastructure, continuously enhancing scalability and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will focus on maintaining the highest level of service, with a strong emphasis on standardisation through automation to stay ahead of increasing business demands.
Responsibilities: Close collaboration with different teams to design new network infrastructure including data centres, colocations, optimisation of routing and further network improvements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to determine network requirements and identify features that enable business processes.
Deliver hands-on support while consistently enhancing documentation, automation, and streamlining of network design to reduce outages and improve issue resolution.
As a Network Engineer you will have: Experience: 6+ years in a Network Engineering role, operating and deploying network infrastructure.2+ years experience in found-up network design Excellent understanding and hands-on experience with network protocols such as OSPF, BGP and Multicast Experience troubleshooting TCP/UDPLinux Automation mindset This is a fantastic opportunity to work in one of the most talented Network teams at a truly industry-leading trading firm.
