They value technology especially the opensource variety as well as scalability and robust performance (much like their track record).This position requires close collaboration with their software engineers, Traders and Infrastructure teams in an effort to best align technical solutions with the schedules and analytic needs of various strategies.The ideal candidate should have a strong background in both RTL design as well as software engineering. The candidate must have a keen interest in using software engineering methodologies to improve the efficiency of the hardware development workflow, as well as the ability to integrate their designs into a larger software stack.Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in trading and finance, this is not a requirementA bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related fieldA background in both RTL design and software engineeringExperience with FPGA vendor tools such as Vivado / QuartusSoftware development experience with a language such as C++ or JavaA strong understanding of the Linux operating systemUnderstanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP and EthernetThe environment is that of Facebook or Google, open with time to think and make the right decisions.
