QA Engineer – Fintech To 60,000Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Java Developer to join our high profile client.
Our client is a small fintech firm creating by one of the worlds best known personalities in fintech.
They are known for solving one of the common problems in the retail financial space and in the current climate this is a unique product.
Merchants in the ecosystem publish offers that reward consumers for making advance payments.
Typically, the longer the consumer leaves the money with the merchant, the greater the reward – i. e. rewards have a time dimension like accruing interest, but functions as a discount, thus increasing the spending power of the consumer.
Merchants can also increase consumer spending power by making additional discount coupons available to encourage spend at particular times and/or locations.
Day to Day The QA Engineer will: Test within Agile scrum/kanban teams Plan and execute testing around the product stories and bugs Participate in sprint standups, demos, and retrospectives Create and maintain QA documentation: test plan, test scenarios, checklists Work with Product and Support to determine the required level of quality for each product (reliability, usability, performance)Measure and record the quality so that we know when features are ready to be deployed to customers Define and carry out a regression testing strategy Strive for automated testing while understanding when manual testing makes more sense Work with support investigating quality related customer complaints Work with product to ensure product requirements cover quality This is a greenfield project working in conjunction with another team building a mobile application.
The QA Engineer Must have: At least 2 years of software testing Java You are organized, pay attention to detail, and a great communicator Quality inspection and testing experience Quality planning, execution, and recording experience Regression testing planning and execution Strong mobile and desktop user skills Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QAKnow when to use different QA techniques The environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions.
