Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Professional Services Manager to join our high profile client. My Client is a global financial technology (fintech) firm specialising in AML, Fraud, Financial Risk and Big Data Management. They have offices and clients across the globe. This role runs EMEA professional services in a team of 8 looking to grow to 20. You will require exceptional experience leading and managing people in both local and remote locations. In addition, you will require strong client consultancy experience with software data management, data quality, master data management, and/or risk and compliance solutions. Strong analytic and problem solving skills, experience with Windows technologies, SQL etc.
The Professional Services Manager will be involved in:
- Managing day to day assignments of your team to ensure both employee and customer satisfaction – this requires the ability to balance multiple tradeoffs.
- Develop and execute a hiring and training plan based on sales forecasts to ensure you have the proper mix and quantity of people and skills to support the projected customer engagements in your region.
- Develop and manage budgets for your region to ensure meeting profitability targets set for your consulting business.
- Provide the mentoring and career planning support for all of your team members to ensure they are meeting their personal growth objectives as well as the company’s needs.
- Manage the performance of all of your team members including removing people that do not meet well set expectations.
- Interface with external and internal clients to support all facets of the software and services delivery phases (pre-sales support, product delivery, configuration, testing, training, integration, and implementation).
- Collaborate with sales, consulting, and other internal teams to develop an understanding of prospective client needs.
Professional Services Manager Must have:
- Degree in Information Technology or Systems, Computer Science, mathematics, science, or related STEM concentrations. Minimum 2:2 is required.
- 8+ years of experience in a technical consulting or implementation position.
- 2+ years managing and/or leading teams of people.
- Foundational understanding of finances to be able to support budget creation and execution.
- Experience with reading code and some SQL – from a management position.
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong commitment to follow-through.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and effectively communicate technical concepts.
- Ability to understand, articulate, and define solutions that meet the client’s needs.
