Pre Sales Engineer Reference / Realtime Financial Data Quant Capital is urgently looking for Pre Sales Engineer to join our high profile client.
Our client is a key player in the fintech100 and well known for its enterprise wide realtime market data and reference data products.
They have offices across the globe and are the have the number one product for the investment industry.
This is a brand new greenfield product within the business that will shape the hosted real-time market data space over the next 10 years.
The team is flat with an emphasis on collaboration and relationship management.
We are looking for profiles with a market data or large financial software platform background who combine business, technical and client based experience.
The Pre Sales Engineer will:– Provide technical subject matter expertise across the platform– Manage both the pre and post sales experience– Lead a deep and extensive understanding of the client architecture, infrastructure and application environment– Oversee all client communications relating to the technical engagements– Lead Client Engagement by managing all sales activities within realtime data.
Pre Sales Engineers must have: Strong technical market data experience Degree in a Financial or Scientific subject, ideally Comp Sci Experience at Markit, Reuters, Bloomberg, IDC, SIX or a similar data vendor – We are also keen to speak to people from an end user environment Experience with the product development lifecycle – particularly scoping out requirements Excellent presentation skills and verbal communication skills – experience in a client facing role preferable Programming Skills Knowledge of industry standard market data APIs and protocol technologies (e. g., SSL, RFA, MAMA, Tib RV, RWF/OMM, Marketfeed)Knowledge of the concepts of market data contributions and real-time market data publishing We will consider those who have platform experience and are looking to develop.
This is a role that combines serious market data experience as well a desire to be well known in the space and a real thought leader.
