Network Engineer – Tradingup to – 120,000 Plus Bonus Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Network Engineer to join our high profile client.
Our client is an established fintech on a mission to disrupt the foreign exchange market, applying innovation to tap FX liquidity.
They are JV between from a major global Exchange.
They processes 5 billion messages per day with zero downtime.

The Infrastructure group is responsible for managing and engineering the company’s global solutions for networks, firewalls, servers and storage.
The client trades across Equities, Fixed Income, and FXOn a day to Day basis the Network Engineer will:· Responsible for supporting all on-premise data centres and networks.· Responsible for the availability, security, automation, and continued operations of the network.· Work with Arista, Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper and A10 network devices.· Assist in building of new high-performing, highly resilient, low-latency networks in multiple regions.· Ensure efficient deployment and standard configuration management through automation.· Troubleshoot issues and handle incident escalations (occasionally out-of-hours) while promoting production change management processes and procedures.
Network Engineers MUST have: Experience in multitude of following technologies: low latency Arista switches, Fortinet firewalls, Cisco routing and switching products, Juniper SRX, A10 Load Balancers, Cisco ASA Firewalls, Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer and Corvil.
Experience in coding and network automation, ideally using Python, Ansible and Jinja2 but others are welcome.
Advanced network knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VRFs, VXLAN, route leaking and filtering, IPsec VPNs, NATs + basic IPv6 and multicast understanding.
Knowledge of Rest APIs, Git, SSL certificates, DNS, LDAP, DHCP and Linux.
Network certificates such as CCNA, CCNP or Fortinet NSE4/7 could be beneficial.
