My client is looking for a Linux AWS Specialist to join their team of talented and driven people focusing on keeping applications working smoothly and without fault. You will be given the task to scale up and improve cloud services as well as providing 3rd/4th line support when needed.
As a Linux AWS specialist you will need the following:
- Solid Linux experience (Red Hat/CentOS preferable, Windows knowledge a bonus)
- Good scripting in Bash or Perl
- Monitoring tools
- Bonus: Configuration management and automation tools (Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible)
- Good AWS EC2 and Auto scaling experience
- Networking (TCP/IP)
- Degree, preferable in a quantitative subject
- Clear written and verbal communications skills
- Managerial skills a plus
