Site Reliability Engineer – Quant Tradingup to 160,000 + benefits and bonus Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Linux Engineer to join our high profile client.

Our client is a very well-known and highly regarded trading firm, liquidity provider and systematic market maker.

The members of this team comprise exceptionally skilled Linux Engineers and Programmers who are entrusted with the responsibility of enhancing and constructing an unparalleled platform that drives intricate proprietary trading systems.

The technology stack encompasses a blend of in-house solutions and open-source components, enabling extensive customization and innovation at every level.

Responsibilities: Enhance and optimize the platforms facilitating seamless interaction between teams and our infrastructure Automate intricate processes across multiple systems, even those lacking formal APIs, to eliminate manual tasks Establish standards to foster efficiency and discourage redundant efforts, while collaborating with other technologists to encourage reuse.

Assess new technologies and development methodologies to determine their relevance and applicability to the company Preserve and manage the existing infrastructure and tooling as long as it aligns with our objectives Provide support for internal and trading systems You will need: Strong background in STEM education ideally Computer Science Deep and fundamental knowledge of operating systems predominantly Linux Fluent on the command line and shell scripting Understanding of networking protocols, dynamic routing and storage Excellent Python programming skills Puppet/Ansible GITConfident with one or more distributed systems technology.

Nice to have: Cloud, AWS, GCP etc Splunk Kubernetes Prometheus , Grafana Trading systems experience
