Our client is well known Fin Tech software development firm providing state-of-the-art data analytics technology and solutions for trading firms such as banking institutions, hedge funds, exchanges, asset managers and others.
Their software is mainly used by data scientists and quants in a variety of other verticals building industrialized solutions in Python.
You will develop and prototype new demo solutions using the latest technologies (Atoti, Cloud, Snowflake, Big Query, Clickhouse, Spark, Python, React…Day to Day The Solution Engineer will:– Participate in defining, building and delivering product demos arranged by the Sales team– Building prototype solution using Python and Java– Participate in capturing and organizing customer requirements,– Participate in facilitating communication between business and technical stakeholders,– Contribute to responding to RFIs/RFPs with the sales team,– Contribute to evangelizing the company’s products at trade shows This is a junior role we are looking for potential rather than experience.
You will gain considerable knowledge of the trading and asset management space.
The Solution Engineer Must have:2:1 Computer Science, Maths, Physics or Chemistry degree from a Red Brick UK or EU University Some experience in software development within the enterprise space.
Java and Python An Understanding of computing fundamentals, object orientated programming, threading, concurrency and distributed systems Some experience in a similar role for a software vendor (e. g.
