My client is a well known financial connectivity provider for the front office.
They create a low latency high volume transaction network for Equity and Fixed Income trades.
As such they are a firm driven by technology and getting the most out of it.
The Java Developer sits in a team of 6 who work completely to the Scrum Methodology.
The product is large and complex with comprehensive business functionality written in Java and has both desktop and web clients.
You will quickly progress to complete platform and tool development as well as the ability to be client facing if you wish.
Web based developments primarily use Java, Java Script and HTML5.
All server side software is developed and deployed on Linux The Java development team is currently responsible for static data management, back office tools, user management and packaging of the trading platform.
You must possess excellent problem solving skills, a strong motivation and experience to develop high quality, efficient and maintainable code and a first class attitude to adapt to a fast moving and dynamic environment

Responsibilities: Participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle from specification through development to production to catch bugs early Design, implement, deploy and maintain a greenfield platform Java Developers Must have: MSc or BSc in Comp Sci, Maths, Stats or Physics Java, Java Script, JQuery and HTML or other equivalent web skills.
