Infrastructure Engineer – Fintech / Swift / FIXQuant Capital is urgently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our high profile client.

Our client is a well known financial market data provider and a key provider to major investment banks and funds.

They are part of the Fintech50The individual must have experience in supporting and deploying a Swift environment that includes at least one SNL, SAG and Alliance Access in a production and DR environment.

This role will have specific responsibility for deploying and supporting the company’s corporate, production and DR infrastructure within multiple data centres, strategically enhancing and building a resilient infrastructure for their clients.

Day to day the Infrastructure Engineer will: Full responsibility for all IT infrastructures within organization, which includes but not limited to, corporate office, Managed Hosted data centers and outsourced services.

IT security strategy Client implementations Data Centre Management Managing the purchasing of all software and hardware and ensure the assets are tagged, documented and maintained responsibly.

Infrastructure Engineers / Sys Admins Must have:5 years previous experience in an infrastructure support position within the financial industry or experience working with financial messaging.

SWIFT, ISO15022, ISO20022, FIX, XML, messaging authentication/certification techniques SWIFT – the ability to identity issues with 15022 or 20022 messaging formats, RMA process, troubleshooting Swift connectivity issues including SNL, SAG, HSM management Must have worked on, supported and / or installed version 7 SNL/SAG/SAAMust have experience of SAA for Crest Windows Server 2012 and/or current version Experience of DNS / DHCP / VPN / SFTP /Group Policy and File Replications Excellent technical knowledge of Windows Domains and Active Directory Microsoft Exchange 2013Microsoft office applications including Visio Windows OS inc.

Win 7/8/10Excellent understanding and use of TCP/IP protocols and troubleshooting Experience of networking technologies and topologies, including Site-to-Site VPN Tunnels.

VMWare, ability to create or modify a virtual server, understanding and deploy VMotion and DRS.

Good understanding of VPN connectivity’s Administration and Troubleshooting Microsoft Operating systems and applications.

MCP / MCSA / MCSE Certifications Server Virtualisation Technologies Ideally Experience of databases/SQL (ability to create and run own queries)Basic understanding of phone system preferably Mitel & Cisco Support experience of transactional/real-time services in the banking industry – either wholesale or retail The role suits a bright infrastructure engineer with some strong commercial experience looking to gain more exposure to financial services as well as the responsibility for a growing fintech business.

My client has a relaxed team in a fun work environment that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

The right person for this role, must be an all round technologist who has managed or supported an entire infrastructure environment and has a good attitude to learning new technologies.

This would include Server and PC hardware support, Active Directory, networking devices including firewalls, Load Balancers, routers and switches, standard company applications, including Email, Databases and Office applications and virtualization technologies, specifically VMWare.
