Information Security Lead Quant Capital is urgently looking for an Information Security lead to join our high profile client.
Our client is a brand new investment firm driven by technology.
They are well known in the media as solving one of the common problems for the retail investor and in the current climate this is a unique product.
The company structure is very flat and they have grown to 60 people in almost 6 months.
As their product is web based this position is key to growth and stability.
They recently secured another $32 Million dollar funding round.
Due to their rapid growth and large user base they are looking for an Engineer to come in and add a security presence to their day to day operations.
You will be responsible for every element of IT, process, documentation and information security from their AWS Cloud through to mobile platform to day to day handling of information.
This role provides Information Security advice and assurance to the IT Department, Operations, Investment through the definition, design, implementation and on-going management of the Information security environment and associated services and applications.
It includes responsibility to identify, manage and remedy Information Security risks during project design and operational running of applications, systems and the IT environment.
The role also has to balance competing stakeholder needs and achieve the best outcome for my client in the delivery of strategic and tactical IT and Info security initiatives and solutions.
Candidate must have: Min 7 years in information security CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalent experience Demonstrable knowledge of technical security solutions covering areas such as data leakage, vulnerability management and threat assessment.
Policy experience Linux Understanding of Firewalls Networking Cloud or AWS understanding Ideally EC2Excellent presentation skills Excellent communication skills This role offers massive autonomy from day 1 in a business that is rapidly growing and will do so for a lot longer.
