Quant Capital is urgently looking for an Implementation Consultant with an excellent technical pedigree to work for our high profile investment management vendor. Our client is a well known global wealth management HFT software business. They provide valuations and pricing of derivatives to most of the buy side as well as wealth management software for a large number of global firms.
The environment is relaxed and open, similar to that of Facebook or Google, with time to think and make the right decisions. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed with an open dress code. The Implementation Consultant is responsible for providing information and support to clients through the complete life cycle of implementation phases. Responsibilities include:
- Successfully implement the investment accounting platforms and complimentary solutions to support operations and accounting for asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds, hedge funds and REIT clients.
- Draft and track implementation project plan tasks and budget.
- Maintain relationships with various clients, including leading operations reviews, implementation processes, process improvements, project management functions and vendor review meetings.
- Ensure monthly and quarterly deliverables are delivered timely and accurately to clients, including transaction processing, accounting reconciliations, general ledger, profit and loss, compliance and performance reporting during the roll forward and catchup phases of the implementation process.
- Perform business analysis, new requirements, workflow, and operational reviews.
Implementation Consultants Must Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar.
- Investment accounting implementations, Investment Accounting experience or Accounting firm experience including experience with STAT accounting principles.
- Strong experience with Fixed Income products, Common Stock, Derivative products, including Options, Futures, Swaps, FX trades and Commercial Loans.
- Experience using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project.
- Experience with Crystal report writer, SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft Visio, MSSQL and Bloomberg or Reuters terminals/data products.
- Knowledge of trading life cycle and with IBOR.
- Knowledge of amortization, book value and yields.
My client is based in London; this role will be remote 4 days a week.
