Head of Quant Trading 250,000 Plus Bonus Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Head of Quant Trading to join our high profile client in their main quant research team.
Our client is well-known tech-driven trading firm.
They are well known in the retail and CFD space.
The firm has around 400 employees globally.
This is an environment of google or a startup where tech is number 1.
The firm is known globally for its attitudes and rigour more importantly, you will be surrounded by smart people deeply interested in teaching what they know, and in learning from you.
I am looking for an experienced and highly-driven expert in quant trading and market making to lead and grow a team of quant researchers and software engineers.
On a day-to-day basis your responsibilities will include
- Lead the implementation of large-scale market-making and cross-asset risk management systems
- Guarantee end-to-end quality of trade execution for our millions of retail customers, even during extreme market events
- Expand with additional asset classes and tradable instruments
- Develop and optimise the firms’ trading model to identify and create relevant risk factors and construct systematic equity portfolios Quant Analysts

- Ph D Comp Sci, Maths, Stats or Engineering
- Quant experience of systematic trading (market making/hedging & electronic execution)
- Extensive experience with market-making algorithms and automated trading systems
- Deep understanding of stock market microstructure across global securities exchanges and trading venues
- Experience with high trading volumes
- Experience of delivering multi asset trading strategies (alpha signals, analytics, strategy simulations)
- Experience in machine learning, signal research, back testing & performance optimisation
