Trade Desk Operations Analyst Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Trade Desk Operations Analyst to join our high profile client.

Our client is a well-known global proprietary trading firm who leverages the latest technology, sophisticated algorithms and deep knowledge to trade in capital markets globally.

This is an environment of science and intellectuals.

The firm is known globally for its attitudes and rigour more importantly, you will be surrounded by smart entrepreneurial people deeply interested in the sector who are ready to teach what they know.

I am looking for a top tier junior or graduate with sub 2 years experience and the ability to deal with quick difficult maths problems.

You will interface with various groups within the business to ensure that all trades are reflected accurately in all systems.

Specifically, the Trade Desk Operations Analyst will be involved with research, rapid development execution of trade orders, automation of processes as well as personal projects.

This position sits on one of the trading desks but requires requires close collaboration with the traders, researchers and technical parts of the business in an effort to best align technical solutions with the schedules and analytic needs of various strategies.

This is a role for someone who has a strong level of applied mathematics or engineering with and interest in solving problems and working in a face paced rewarding environment.

Trade Desk Operations Analyst MUST have

  • A at A-level Maths or equivalent
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Logical thought processes
  • A STEM degree from a top ranked University
  • An interest and some coding ability (VBA, Ruby, Go, Lua, Scala, Python or C++ or OO Language)
  • An appetite for delivering solutions to complex problem The environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions.
