Dev Ops Engineer – Linux , Puppet, Fintech Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Dev Ops Engineer to join a well-known Fin Tech business in the big financial data space.

Their product is disrupting the compliance space using AI and data analysis.

Core to their product is technology as well as the ability to automatically analyse very unclean data using natural language processing.

This role works closely with the dev team who use Ruby and Java.

As a Dev Ops engineer you will be involved with: Improving scalability and performance of the product by designing, implementing and delivering software and infrastructure Work alongside Development and operations to resolve product reliability issues, Deep dives into product reliability issues; work with software engineers and external partners to produce and roll out fixes Manage internal and production infrastructure such as switches, firewalls, servers etc Manage business applications Manage internal infrastructure Working with AWS and automation with Chef/Puppet Skills require for the role: Systems and Infrastructure/software support experience Strong Linux admin Dev Ops Cloud knowledge AWS/Rackspace/Open Nebula Strong scripting Bash / Python / Perl /Java / Ruby / PHPTCP/IP and VPN experience Familiarity with configuration management tools such as chef/puppet Some exposure to configuration management tools like Chef and Puppet.

This is a great opportunity to work in a challenging, high profile role within a successful small company with blue-chip financial services clients.

You will be working on interesting projects with highly experienced professionals.
