Desktop Support Engineer - Quant Tradingup to 80,000 + benefits and bonus hybrid working Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our high profile client.
Our client is a well known quantitative proprietary trading firm, liquidity provider and market maker.
They operate globally and are considered to be a market leader in their field.
This is an environment of Google or a well-funded Fin Tech startup where tech is number one with huge budget allocated towards this.
The firm is known globally for its attitudes and rigour more importantly, you will be surrounded by smart people deeply interested in teaching what they know, and in learning from you.
The desktop Support engineer will support approximately 500 + users in a Windows environment.
Working onsite and remotely with users to provide support with workstation applications such as Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, Microsoft Office in an on premise or cloud-based solution; access control policies via Windows Active Directory; remote access assistance and hardware issues.
Day to day the Desktop Engineer will: Manage raised requests and incidents in a timely manner following well-rehearsed internal request runbooks/knowledge based and incident management and request fulfillment processes; Partner with Level 2 & 3 internal and external teams/vendors as appropriate to help troubleshoot more complex incidents; Detailed knowledge and experience in a Microsoft environment supporting Windows 10, Windows Server 2012+, Office Suite including Outlook, Office 365 and Azure, including One Drive, DLP and Share Point Detailed knowledge and experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, remote access solutions and software deployment Detailed knowledge and experience installing, troubleshooting and managing desktop hardware; Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or experience.
