Our client is a well known global High Frequency Trading firm.

You will be offered an almost unlimited budget and the ability to make the right decisions in a non-bureaucratic environment.
This position requires close collaboration with their software engineers in an effort to best align technical solutions with the schedules and analytic needs of various strategies.
The Data Centre Engineer is responsible for all physical hardware at datacenters, including architecture, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization.
The team is also responsible for inventory & asset management on all associated technology hardware, including aspects of procurement, logistics and lifecycle management.
The Engineer will support day-today operations, work with regional and global projects and resolve hardware issues for data centres throughout Europe with focus on the Frankfurt data centre.
The role will be working from home as there are no permanent office premises in Frankfurt.
The role: Install and troubleshoot all types of hardware and infrastructure used in a modern data centre environment.
Coordinating remote work with technicians (server racking & patching, and other hardware installation and changes)Working with vendors to resolve issues.
Together with the regional team to plan and implement projects and changes across the region.
Partake in regional on-call rotation.
Asset management.
Maintain technical documentation and assist with improving best practises and processes.
Logistic and inventory management; including shipment handling.
Frequent travel to domestic and international data centres.
Data center power and cooling capacity management.
Trading Systems Support Analysts MUST have:1-3 years commercial experience in a data Centre Environment Able to prioritise quickly and work on multiple high profile work items simultaneously.
Comfortable using Linux command line tools CCENT, equivalent or work experience.
Good understanding of modern data centre principles.
In depth knowledge based on experience of working with computing hardware and connectivity.
Understands cabling standards, best practises and different cable and termination types.
The environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions.
The atmosphere is calm and relaxed with an open dress code.
