Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Business Analyst to join our high profile client. The Business Analyst role has come around due to an expansion and strategic change within their London office growth. Our client is a well-known data provider to the wealth management and asset management market. They have offices globally and are well known in the Fund space.

The Business Analyst's core activity will center on defining client requirements for features or additions to an asset management product suite, working closely with the development team to ensure there is a complete understanding of the business requirements and appropriate mapping of business requirements to a technical design as well as mapping of requirements to test cases. The role will play a central part in ensuring that requirements are specified, developed and tested correctly.

While not essential, the ideal candidate will be working in the fund administration or asset management industry today in a back, middle or front-office role, or in a service provider company supplying technology and/or services to that industry.

The Business Analyst Will:

  • Lead key stakeholders
  • Document client driven business requirements for new features and enhancements to existing product functionality. The business requirements must be complete, of excellent quality and represent industry best practice in their implementation
  • Help in the creation of a data dictionary and data model in collaboration with the client and internal development teams
  • Input to the product roadmap

Business Analysts Must Have:

  • A background in Back office Financial Operations or Experience in a Fund or Asset Manager
  • Client facing experience
  • Experience working with technical and business teams to translate internal and external business needs to drive functional and technical requirements
  • Experience with data modelling and data mapping
  • Educated to degree level in economics, information technology or computer science or equivalent experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills
  • Interest in financial markets
  • Strong Academic Background
