Quant Capital is urgently looking for an Atlassian Product Administrator to join our well-known Fintech client who produces software disrupting the wealth management market. Currently, they stand at 300 in the UK with almost 3000 clients. The firm runs a modern infrastructure with the latest Windows versions and sits on AWS, so if you want to play around you will be encouraged. The CEO has an open desk and works closely with every team member.
Day to Day the Atlassian Product Administrator will be part of some of:
- High-level Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and implementation of our Confluence and JIRA strategy and provide thought leadership within the business.
- Support JIRA, Confluence and Mavenlink administration, including creation and management of custom, complex projects, workflows, security schemes, custom fields, dashboards and reports configurations.
- Lead minor and major JIRA/Confluence upgrades (including communications), schedule and coordinate maintenance, and lead performance tuning/scaling in conjunction with our JIRA hosting partner.
- Install, manage and administer Jira add-ons, plugins, and extensions.
- Understand and adapt XML configuration files in regard to JIRA integrations as necessary (integration to GitHub).
- Perform requirements gathering, business process workflows, and process improvement for JIRA/Confluence workflows and processes in place, identifying where functionality can/cannot meet user requests.
- To be a Technical Authority for the use of Atlassian products within the company.
- Conduct training for employees and new hires on JIRA and Confluence regarding how to use the tools, new functionality, etc.
The Atlassian Administrator should have:
- Expert level tool administration knowledge on JIRA, and proficiency in the Atlassian tool suite.
- Proficient in understanding and adapting XML (Extensible Markup Language).
- Experience with hosted environments and remotely co-located systems.
- Experience installing and updating JIRA plugins using Atlassian SDK is a plus.
- Experience as a JIRA Administrator in the past where one has customized JIRA projects with various schemas.
- Proficient in Project Setups, Components, JIRA Reporting, Report Filters and Dashboard creation.
