Application Support Lead – Fintech / Trading Quant Capital is urgently looking for an Application Support / Customer Support Team Lead to join our high profile client.

Our client has recently been voted in the fintech 100 (best financial technology businesses).

They provide a market leading Execution Management System for buy and sell side clients as well as Algo Execution.

They have offices globally (travel arranged for your benefit if wanted).

This role provides an exciting opportunity to join a cutting edge technology company that is reshaping the financial services industry.

I am looking for an individual with a desire to learn the product set, drive complex investigations and manage escalations, develop best practice approaches to workflow and explore opportunities to enhance tools, represent the Service to the customer base.

The client trades across Equities, Fixed Income, and FX On a day to Day basis the Support Team Lead will:

  • Hands on Support for Major Global Trading Clients
  • Lead a team for 5 junior support analysts
  • The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment, supporting the Head of Support services by taking responsibility for key team activities, such as metrics reporting, documenting learnings, monitoring and managing team activities, identifying training opportunities and supporting continual process improvement.
  • Support issue escalation and remediation activities, driving high profile issues with collaboration across the business, evaluating and implementing solutions for customers.
  • Participate in Client facing calls, summarising issues, actioning feedback and representing the Support Service.
  • Monitor and manage workloads, issue prioritisation and track success against KPIs Customer Support Team Lead MUST have:
  • Experience in a Team Lead or Senior Application Support role.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) skills, with the ability to document and share learnings within the team.
  • A strong customer orientation.
  • SQL and ideally basic Scripting
  • A broad-based understanding of finance and trading including equity derivatives, trading practices and associated technologies.
