Quant Capital is urgently looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our high profile client. Our client has recently been voted in the fintech 100 (best financial technology businesses). They provide a market leading Execution Management System for buy and sell side clients as well as Algo Execution. They have offices globally (travel arranged for your benefit if wanted).
I am seeking a mid-level application support specialist with three (3+) or more years of experience to work in my clients Application Support Group in London. The primary responsibility of the Application Support Specialist is to provide high level functional and technical support for the company’s products directly to the customer base. You will be joining a hardworking and dedicated Support team within an entrepreneurial and fast paced environment. You will also work closely with the company’s sales and engineering teams.
On a day to Day basis the Support Specialist will:
- Respond promptly to support requests and inquiries from clients
- Support customers and resolve issues related to order entry, risk management, and exchange connectivity
- Conduct analysis of complex order and trade histories
- Identify solutions to open issues/problems that are under investigation or pending resolution
- Improve documentation of support policies and procedures
- Work directly with new customers to coordinate deployment and configuration of the company’s products
- Manage distribution and installation of software enhancements
Application Support Specialists MUST have:
- STEM Degree
- 3+ years’ experience supporting real time trading systems with end-to-end application support.
- Experience supporting various electronic exchanges including one or more of Liffe, Eurex, LSE, Euronext, CME, and ICE.
- Intermediate knowledge of Linux tools including bash, vi, less, grep. FIX a bonus
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and case management tools
