Application Support Analyst – trading systems35,000 p/a Quant Capital is urgently looking for junior Application Support Analyst to join a high-profile client.

Our client is Our client has recently been voted in to the Fintech 100.

They provide a market leading Execution Management System for buy and sell side clients as well as Algo Execution.

As an Application Support Analyst you main responsibilities will e to provide technical and functional support for high-performance trading systems.

You will work as part of an award-winning global support team to solve problems and respond to clients’ requirements.

Responsibilities: Job

Responsibilities: Respond promptly to client support requests and inquiries.

Actively monitor critical systems and infrastructure, promptly addressing issues and escalating to relevant teams when required.

Provide customer support for order entry, risk management, and exchange connectivity issues.

Conduct detailed analysis of complex order and trade histories.

Coordinate the deployment and configuration of the company’s products for new customers.

Manage the distribution and installation of software enhancements and upgrades.

Collaborate with exchanges and internal software engineers to test and implement new software releases.

Assist the infrastructure team in testing and completing server and network upgrade projects.

Ensure seamless 24-hour customer support by liaising with overseas offices.

Job Requirements• A STEM Degree• Demonstratable interest in working in technology• Good understanding of Linux OS• Ability to manage and prioritise work and can maintain high levels of productivity with minimal supervision.• Will respond promptly to client needs and proactively solicit feedback to improve service.• Strong analytical skills to correctly identify the root cause of a range of issues, and working on, or actively contributing to, the rollout of the solution.• Can thrive in high-pressure or time critical situations, working in a team to deliver results to tight deadlines.• Experience with command line tools such as grep, sed, awk preferred.• Willing to assume responsibility and make timely decisions, including to escalate when appropriate.• Experience with common Windows applications such as Excel This role suits a fresh STEM graduate with a passion for Linux, you will be using Linux at home and will have a confident command of the terminal, this role could also suit a candidate with some commercial experience with Linux and an appetite to work in financial services technology.
