The estate is predominantly Windows and supports a demanding, highly technical business.This is a delivery-focused position rather than a policy-only role.
You will investigate weaknesses, improve endpoint controls, assist with active incidents and create automation that makes the security operation faster and more consistent.The remitOwn the technical improvement of security controls across corporate Windows systems.Run the vulnerability lifecycle from discovery and assessment through to remediation and validation.Support the response to suspicious activity, security alerts and production-impacting events.Tune and extend endpoint capabilities covering EDR, application control, encryption, host firewalls and security telemetry.Build reusable PowerShell automation for deployment, investigation and control assurance.Turn operational knowledge into concise runbooks and repeatable engineering practices.Your backgroundFive or more years spent delivering security or operations engineering in Windows-heavy environments.Detailed knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and native Windows protection features.The ability to recognise common attack paths against Windows infrastructure and design sensible mitigations.Practical experience triaging incidents and using monitoring, event data and logs to establish what happened.Previous responsibility for deploying or operating endpoint security tools at meaningful scale.Strong PowerShell scripting skills and an automation-first approach to recurring work.Clear communication and the judgement to work productively with infrastructure, development and security specialists.The role offers broad ownership and would appeal to someone who prefers solving security problems through engineering, values well-designed automation and is comfortable operating in a fast-moving technical environment. xbpsjku All applications are handled in strict confidence.
