Infrastructure Engineer β Fintech50 Quant Capital is urgently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our high profile client.
Our client is a well known Quant risk consultancy.
This is a senior position running all of the IT Infrastructure for a small Risk business.
You will report to the CTO and have full responsibility for IT.
On a day to day basis the Infrastructure Engineer will
- Design, implement and support IT environments to meet business needs
- Manage change implementations full life cycle of new technologies
- Backup and disaster recovery strategy development, implementation and maintenance
- Support and continuously improve network security
- Research, recommend, procure and implement IT equipment and services, building strong relationships with suppliers and other third parties
- Management reporting to senior members of staff
- Maintain and upgrade machines out of hours to make sure no impact on the business
- Domain maintenance The ideal candidate has experience in a small environment and is comfortable rolling their sleeves up and getting things done.
Infrastructure Engineers must have: (Below also shows tech stack)β’ Microsoft, Gsuite & Windows technology experience
- Microsoft (MS) Active Directory & MS services and Exchange (Essential)
- Experience of supporting a multi-server network environment
- Networking, including DHCP, DNS, routing, VLAN, firewall, and VPN technologies
- The successful candidate will be educated to degree or equivalent level, possess relevant qualifications, e. g.
Cisco, CCNA or CCNP certification, have experience of Office 365 Cloud and Microsoft Azure technologies.
