As a Trading Desk Operations Engineer you sit directly within the trading and research group. You support live trading, improve operational workflows and help turn ideas into reliable tools and systems. You will work closely with traders, researchers and engineers, gaining direct exposure to how strategies are built, tested and executed. Day to day you may validate trade flows, automate processes, troubleshoot issues under pressure, analyse unexpected system behaviour and build quick tools that improve speed and accuracy. You will need to think clearly, act decisively and enjoy solving complex technical problems in real time.
This position is well suited to graduates with a strong foundation in mathematics, engineering or computer science and a genuine appetite for analytical work.
You must have:
- STEM degree from a top ranked university with exceptional academic results
- A level Maths at grade A or equivalent
- Excellent logical reasoning and problem solving ability
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Interest in programming with basic proficiency in at least one language (Python, C++, Go, Scala, Ruby, Lua, VBA or similar)
