In this position, you will closely collaborate with software engineers, traders, and infrastructure teams to align technical solutions with strategy schedules and analytical requirements.
You will become part of the global portfolio of data centers, involved in architecture, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Additionally, the role encompasses inventory and asset management of associated technology hardware, including procurement, logistics, and lifecycle management.
Responsibilities include supporting day-to-day operations, contributing to regional and global projects, resolving hardware issues in European data centers, with a specific focus on the Frankfurt data center.
Key responsibilities: Traveling to domestic and international data centers.
Installation and troubleshooting of various hardware and infrastructure in a modern data center environment.
Managing data center power and cooling capacity.
Coordination with technicians, vendors, and the regional team to implement projects and address issues.
Overseeing logistics and inventory management, including handling shipments.
Supporting the trading Linux infrastructure of the firm, including emergency response.
Contributing to the development of automation and monitoring tools for provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of servers.
Maintenance of technical documentation, while enhancing best practices and processes.
Participation in regional on-call rotation and occasional weekend shifts.

Engineers: Comprehensive understanding of server-side networking, prevalent network protocols, contemporary data center principles, operating system concepts, and internal workings of Linux.
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in maintaining and operating Linux systems Proficiency in utilizing Linux command line tools.
Extensive experience in working with computing hardware and establishing connectivity.
Profound expertise in adhering to cabling standards, implementing best practices, and employing various cable and termination types.
Previous engagement in the development of automation and monitoring tools.
