Our client, a London-based hedge fund and proprietary trading firm, is hiring a C# Software Engineer to join a small team building a new trading and settlement platform from scratch. The team is made up of experienced traders and engineers building a technology-first trading product that is already gaining traction with major financial institutions.

You’ll work directly with traders and senior developers on real-time trading infrastructure, algorithmic trading systems, order management, and post-trade automation. The environment is lean, technical, and hands-on, with far less bureaucracy than a typical bank or large financial institution. This is not a maintenance role. You’ll be involved in building core systems from the ground up and will get broad exposure across the full trading lifecycle.

Looking for:

  • 2–3 years’ software engineering experience
  • Strong C# skills
  • Interest in trading systems and financial markets (fixed income, corp paper)
