Business Analyst Pensions / Wealth Management Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Business Analyst to join our high profile client.
Our client provides global technology services to the financial services industry specifically providing innovation, competitiveness and responsive IT that truly enables financial services.
Their clients are the major investment banks and Asset Managers.
You will provide quality business input on both internal and external client projects.
The role requires the business analyst to apply their strong operational knowledge to the design, development and delivery of global software solutions.
This role sits under the head of development in a small team that is core to the development of a new product.
The role will involve direct discussions on a daily basis with Pension Fund managers to create a new best of breed platform for retail and fund management.
You will
- Be responsible for specific functional solutions and their mapping back to business requirements
- Liaise constantly with Project Manager, Developers, Technical Analyst, Tester, Implementation, Documentation and Training to ensure mapping to business requirements, test coverage, implementation, documentation and training requirements are met.
- Provide “Product Specialist” business lead throughout the development project lifecycle; ensuring the business validity of functionality to be delivered into the Core Product team (“business gatekeeper” for specific areas of the system)
- Project scoping, execution and individual task budgets are understood and adhered to Candidates must have: A minimum of 3 years financial business analysis experience in Pensions, Life Insurance, WRAP’s or Wealth Management eg ISA Platforms Strong mid and back office experience A track record of software solution delivery within the finance sector Capital markets exposure Proven practical problem solving and analysis experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Awareness of risk management Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Ideally Experience of working for a vendor Exposure to different Business Analysis techniques and processes This is a unique opportunity for someone to expand further into financial technology.
You should be driven and interested to gain some serious financial vendor experience as well as taking on a volume of responsibility.
As this is a niche sector expect a serious package as well as the autonomy to create new and unique solutions and the ear of the CTO and CEO of a global firm.
