Android Developer – Fintech To 90,000Quant Capital is urgently looking for an Android Developer to join our high profile client.

They have recently raised (PE and Bank) 50 million and are set for another 100 million raise in February.

They are acquiring users at 50,000 per month and the boards aim is for a 2billion valuation by July 2022.

Engineers are responsible for ensuring the correctness of their code and the output generated.

Therefore, there is a strong emphasis on automated testing and validation.

Periodic retrospectives are the heartbeat of continuous improvement.

Review of designs/code and knowledge sharing are key to smooth organizational continuity.

Two brains are always better than one and as such we often pair program.

Day to Day The Android Engineer will: Develop the application; writing the code or the application and unit tests.

Investigate, debug, and resolve customer reported issues.

Support and enhance the architecture of the Android application.

Interact with the product manager and designers to refine ideas into fully specified user stories.

Help to suggest refinements or features for the application to improve the experience for users or increase reliability.

Break down larger stories to allow features to be developed in an iterative manner and to minimize possible impact.

Estimate features so we get reliable release dates.

Release the app when all features are completed and signed off.

Monitor the app post-release to ensure that it is working as expected.

The Android Developer Must have: At least 3 years of commercial experience in Android development.

Proficient in Kotlin and/or Java Experience with common design patterns such as MVP and MVVMExperience with financial systems Experience creating rich mobile interfaces Excellent verbal communication, remote development and solid problem-solving skills.

BSc/BA/MS/Ph D in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
