This person will guide the sales process, building relationships with existing and prospective customers and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Making outbound calls to our existing database of customers.
- Discussing and providing quotations for the full product range.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through effective communication.
- Understanding customers' product needs by generating and closing new and existing leads.
- Utilise Salesforce for tracking sales activities, opportunities, customer interactions and reporting on sales performance.
- Conduct product campaigns to generate new business leads.
- Achieving set KPIs on a weekly & monthly basis.
- Accurately process orders using Orderwise for your customer base, maximising sales opportunities via upselling and cross selling.
- Work in partnership with the warehouse and other departments, to track and make amendments to orders and ensure orders progress where necessary.
- Build and maintain own product awareness and identify areas of product training where necessary.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience building relationships in an outbound sales role.
- Experience using IT systems such as Orderwise and Salesforce is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively on the phone.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, providing proactive problem-solving solutions.
